When a pathway changes, teams need to know who reviews information, how urgent needs are identified and what happens when technology or handoffs fail.
My role
I led and contributed to clinical safety work for AI-assisted and digital workflows. That included risk review, safety documentation, operating procedures, escalation and monitoring, alongside work with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
Putting it into practice
We used the safety work to guide the rollout and to check the live service. My experience includes responsibilities under DCB0129 and DCB0160, as well as data protection and organisational governance.
